Four American Sterling Silver Candlesticks by Gorham

Beautifully engraved and decorated by The Gorham Company of Providence, RI, USA. These candlesticks feature tripod form mask feet, engraved decoration and monogrammed “MWC” in stylized form. Fully marked underneath the base of each as shown. Dimensions: 10.75″ high, weighted for safety and stability. Condition: bases are balanced and stand upright with no problem, but the stems not perfectly straight. No visible damage, dents or repairs. Three bobeches somewhat tarnished but overall condition good on the set. (8721-as)

6 George III Silver Oval Open Salts by Paul Storr 1806


Wonderful, regal style with four claw feet and gadrooned border. This set of 6 open salts was made by the master English silversmith, Paul Storr in London 1806. Each fully hallmarked. The weight is 35 troy oz for the set of six. Over 4.25″ across the widest point of the top; each 2″ high. The set is in very good condition.  (1642-ps)

4-Pc Italian Silver Tea & Coffee Set


4-piece Art Deco set includes teapot, coffee pot, creamer and covered sugar bowl. Each footed piece globular form with shaped, upswept handles and concave, oval lids with oval, wood button finials. The pots’ lids are hinged and the sugar bowl’s lid is removable. The handles are flattened with the pots’ wood handles featuring a scroll form thumb-piece. Each vessel fully marked on the bottom (covers unmarked), but maker unknown. Made in Italy (circa 1940s/50s). Condition: very good. Dimensions/ teapot: 8.5″ height, coffee: 7.75″ height, sugar: 5.5″ height, creamer: 5.25″ height, 65 total troy oz. (7214-cs)

German Silver Picture Frame


This triptych-form silver frame is cast with a dense scroll and foliate pattern featuring a central cherub motif. Two of the glass panes are beautifully etched in another scroll & foliate design. Fully marked on the reverse side (German, circa 1890). Condition: some chipping on top edge of 2nd & 3rd glass panes, otherwise very good. Dimensions: 12.75 inches width by 8.25 inches height, 4.5 troy oz. (6053-cs)

German Silver Centerpiece, 19th c


This piece, Including  a glass liner, has an oval-shaped, pierced lattice frame with floral swags and central motif of a basket with yard tools topped by two birds. The upswept handles are shaped with scrolls and the piece has a pedestal foot. Marked on base underside, maker unknown. Made in Germany (circa late 1890’s). No monograms. Condition: glass very good, silver slight wear from normal use, otherwise very good. Dimensions: height is 10″ by 18″ w, weight 31 oz. (5039-cs)
